dc.description.abstract | The incorporation of inclusive education has been one of the most important post-apartheid policies of South Africa as well as other countries of the African continent and the world. At school level, educators perform a central role in the successful implementation of an inclusive education system given their responsibilities as facilitators and mediators of learning. Although the successful realisation of inclusive education is primarily dependent on the capabilities and skills of the educators, the literature has overlooked the perceptions, views and attitudes of the education community, particularly the educators who teach learners with special educational needs (LSEN) in the successful implementation of an inclusive education. | en_US |
